Montrose Valley Lodge

Good hotel with free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and comfortable rooms. The staff even helped me find my lost earring during my first stay! Highly recommend for a cozy experience. I'm coming back for Christmas!

Reasonably priced hotel, the location was unbeatable. Staff were superfriendly and helpful, rooms were bright and equipped with iron and the microwave, for instance. The restaurant was not too far from the venue.

Loved our time here. It was a nice stay for the value of a night's stay here. The room on the balcony. Everything was perfect, the staff were efficient and top-class.

Location to the National park was good. Not too expensive.

Furniture a little outdated

The room was spacious and clean. The free breakfast included a variety of options, such as fresh waffles and pastries, which helped kickstart my day. The staff was responsive in assisting with my requests, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable at times.

Nicer toiletries and breakfast than one would expect for 2 star hotel. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Free wi-fi was great and easy to use. Also had a refrigerator and microwave as well as in room coffee. We stayed 2 nights 5 days apart on our way to and from Telluride. Good location,

Only problem was pillows that are too fluffy and no alternative. Mentioned to staff who had heard it before, but no action taken by management.

The room was clean and comfortable upon arrival and the daily cleaning service was very good as well. The room had a small refrigerator and microwave as well as a small counter area that could be used for food preparation. The morning breakfast was much more than I expected a "continental breakfast" to offer and the food was pretty good. They have an outdoor pool with a covered spa, covered sitting/dining area, and two propane grills that can be used by guests. We were pleased with the relaxation area and overall location/experience of the hotel

The hot water in the shower was unbeatable, and the pool was perfect for a quick relax.

The room wasn't very clean and was in need of general maintenance

We arrived late in the evening and left very early, so just slept there.

All was fine/very good. THe single problem was that I booked it online and indicated that we needed to take a 5:00am shuttle to the airport for an early flight. THis statement was included on my confirmation email from Days Inn. When we checked in, the staff stated they had not been told of this request and were unsure if they'd be able to accommodate. This would have been disastrous for us as the hotel was too far to walk to. Luckily, she was able to arrange the ride, but it was disconcerting.

The TV didn't work, but the towels were clean.

Friendly, courteous staff. They use the "cleanremotes" on their TVs which should help minimize germs.

While checking for bedbugs I noticed the box-spring was dirty.
